Ian Maxwell
An aspiring writer and active nerd, Ian has been playing games since he had hands, been reading comics since his eyes were open to the world, and fanatically worshiping art and media since conscious thought erupted from his ginger head. He co- founded the Freshly Baked Crackers, as an outlet for spewing forth the constant barrage of opinions and ideas about pop culture he must purge to maintain room in his mind, for things like the location of house keys and when his bills are due. Also as an excuse to share his passions with his best pal Josh. Ian currently resides in St Louis with his wife Niki and best cat homie, Doctor.
Niki Murphy
As co-host of the Fresh Comics Podcast and wife of Ian, Niki finds herself watching video games being played and listening to nonsense theories about extended Star Wars canon more than she ever could have anticipated. Thankfully, she finds video games to be fascinating and fun to watch and has her own obsession with the Harry Potter series that could give Ian’s Star Wars lore ramblings a serious run for their Galleons. She also loves anime, puzzles, horror, her cat Doctor, Neil Gaiman, sewing, and as it turns out, Star Wars, just about as equally. But it rarely stops there, if it’s fun and geeky, Niki’s on board to chat about it!
